End and a new beginning..

This is it!
2009 ends..with lots of memories and we look forward to begin the new timezone from the future..

Well, for me the decade and the last year was special..
I completed my graduation with flying colors, and now prepare for the next battle masters in business.

The most remembered memories of last years were 26/11,T20 world cup...Me buying a new PC .!!..the train blasts..and 26/7 floods ..
The last one i.e the rains of 26/7 was an experience which i can never forget..as i walked for 10-12 hours to reach home ...I learned to walk ...literally..

The line from one of my favorite movie Rocky Balboa comes to mind.."Its not about how hard you can hit..but how hard you can get hit and still keep moving forward".
That sums up what I've learned .

Lots of fun moments with friends ..and those late night rides in the Mumbai suburbs are just unforgettable.

As the interest and maturity in various subject grew..I started to enjoy the moments better..
Music has now become a necessity..specially Gazals and Rock.

Enough said ..now its time to put all the learning and understanding into play and enjoy the rewards.

Wishing everyone a cracking new year..!
Enjoy !

i feel Debianised....!!!

On 15th august our proud Independence Day, i did a bit of my own freedom thing ..

i loaded Debian on my PC as my primary OS to the windoze which i don't care about nowadays except for idiotic VB which i have to study as its in my syllabus...

so i did load it before the day .. Birthday of Debian ...16th august ....15 years of total freedom..!!

though i had used Ubuntu before and i had a nice practice of using Linux but due to the human tendency to do a lots of unwanted things together ...i did mess up...a little bit ..not much..!

but The king helped...and i thank him for that..!

and there was Google too....

now i am a proud user of Debian and wish to contribute to the community as much as possible

and i think its time to brush aside windoze from my desktop

so enjoy your freedom too..and do things your way..!..

Nirav sir has been one of the top speakers on technology and more in India and he showed us how..!

Various topics were discussed and disected during the three hour experience ..

Feedback was overwhelming and almost everyone left with thoughts and ideas for their internship projects.

race till the end...?...

a few hours back i watched a video of a girl who attended the UN conference in 1992.. and silenced the members for 5 long minutes....

she spoke every child's mind..she spoke every living being's mind....

"is this the end.."...
i have not been the one who thinks a lot about environment and all the things....but those 5 minutes now have made me think...

thinking..is that all we can do...?
do we want this race to be till the end....?

here is the video..please don't just watch it..

what an experience....!!!

yesterday was an exciting day...
not because Chelsea beat Liverpool but the reason for me was installing Ubuntu 8.04 and Debian...in my PC....

it took around 90 mins to install both and then it was an experience to cherish...i had broken the walls of windows(!!)...and entered the open air...

last time the desktop cube wasn't supportive my hardware graphics config. but i think they have sorted it out...now the Cube works fine....next was media...

Ubuntu 8.04 does not have VLC media player installed so had to fix that up through repository...

now everything...is just smooth...now i have a TRI-boot with Debian,Ubuntu
& Windoze ...had to keep it until others at home get hang of Ubuntu...they are still windowed... as we call it...

learning in open air is so much better than learning behind closed windows...
here is a screen shot...
